New Layouts in Studio J!

I have just purchased about 15 layouts in Studio J!  I'm so excited to be able to share what I have been up to!  Of course, I can't take credit for these as I just did the amazing Love your Layout video's posted on the Studio J website.  If you haven't checked them out, you should!  There are so many great tips in these video's; it really opens up a world of possibilities.  To find out more about Studio J digital scrapbooking CLICK HERE

Now for the fun stuff!  What layout to share first???  Since I was doing my Studio J layouts to get caught up...lets start with the ones that have the oldest pictures!  My oldest daughter is 10 years old and just finished 4th grade.  But these layouts were to finally capture her First Communion memories from the 2nd grade!  I'm just slightly behind :)

I'm in love with these layouts in particular because it was such a blessing for multiple reasons, but I'm so thankful to have my aunt in these pictures.  It was her last visit out here, as she unfortunately had Cancer and it took her life too soon after this.  I'm so thankful she was here for Alyssa's day.  Such lovely memories to warm my heart and my daughter's heart as she gets older and looks back on this day.

Mother's Day Candles

More candles to share! :)  I took the same concept that I used for my Halloween candles and made a few more with colored ink for my mom to use in her new place.  I hope you like them just as much as she did!

A little ink, some CTMH stamps, wax paper & a craft heater can work wonders!

Update!

Clearly I have taken a huge break from the blog world.  I don't really have any followers at this time, so it hasn't been a big deal, except to me.  I know someone, somewhere has stumbled onto my site (unless all visitors are my family!) and I should have some things new to be looked at!

My biggest issue as of late is that I'm not really limiting myself to just scrappin, but have expanded into other creative projects.  So, what do I do with a blog about scrappin?  Not sure, but I'll keep it up and just start including my other home decor projects as well and see where it gets me :)

For now though, I'm going to play catch up on what I have done but not posted! A little bit each day should have me caught up real quick!

Back to February - I know!  Sad, right!? ;) I did some great decorations for my daughters birthday party though!

I always do a single page layout to showcase the party girl and this month the Lucy paper pack was absolutely perfect for her party decor!

It would have been nice to do more like above, but I think her items came out great, especially for a small table display :)

This was my inspiration and if I do say so myself...my knock off wasn't too shabby ;)

And of course I had to share this even though it is not scrapbook related...it turned out so pretty!  Who knew a hula hoop and some streamers could have such a large impact?!?!!
