Buzz and Bumble!

I know, it's been too long since I last posted...again!  I'm finally here to show some great pics though!  I will admit that I originally did not fall in love with the Buzz and Bumble, but after these two layouts I did! ;)

I truly can't wait to my pics on these and include them in our family scrapbook!

"Super Dad" Display Tray

With Father's Day literally only 4 days away I thought I would share this super cute display tray that I put together at the National Scrapbook Day event I attended last month.

Isn't it perfect for that "Super Dad" in your life?  I'm finally printing my pics of my sweet girls at Walgreens tonight, so I can have it done in time for my "Super Hubby".  I know the girls are very excited to see his expression Sunday morning and it's pretty fitting that my oldest and him are attending the Superman Man of Steel matinee that day too ;)

All materials used are of course from Close To My Heart, even the display tray (which can be found here)!

Cartridges:
Art Philosophy Banner (page 29 size 2") Stars (page 40 size 1.75" & 2"
Artiste Letters size 1"
Shield is from Superhero cartridge size 2.5"

Paper:
CTMH Superhero paper (retired)

If you want to see another creative way to use the tray with current product, just take a look at the beautiful one below.

You Deserve a Break!

You deserve a break!  I say this because I actually think I deserve a break too! :)  The end of the school year is over and I couldn't be more thrilled!  It was wearing me out and I'm not even the one attending school 7 hours a day!  I know my oldest is thankful to have 5th grade behind her and I know that her and her teachers are ready for a little break.

With some help from the blog world I found some cute tags to print out and add to my own stash of cardstock.  Very quick and very easy.  Each face lit up at their little treat :)  But before I share, here is what I have learned....I love creating, but I'm not so good about actually taking nice photo's for my blog.  If I could just snap of photo of whatever I have done on my dirty work table and call it a day, then things would be great!  However, nobody really wants to see that.  They want to see it all pretty and on display.  I'll admit...I do too!  So, I'll work on that in the future, but today all you get is a simple quick photo taken from my car dashboard :)

I know...so sad that this is the only pic I got to take of my quick project, but I was running out of time.  Gimmie a break ;)

Christmas Catch Up

Yes, I need to catch up on my Christmas pictures from this past year!  I know.  I'm late, but at least I'm attempting to catch up :)

This was designed by my good friend Mary Thompson and used an old paper pack, but a good one.

I'm not sure if I'm going to leave these snowmen alone, or color them like I did the little chicks from my "Spring is Here" post...either way I love the layout :)
