Thank You Cards

You can never have too many "Thank You" cards around.  I should make them more often, but I don't, so when I do I make plenty to last awhile.  I made more than I expected with Close To My Heart Mayberry paper.  I was in love (still am too)!

I really do love the colors in this paper, especially with winter upon us the bright yellow just makes me want to smile.  I think I may need to pull my scraps out and see if I have enough left over to make something else :)

November Stamp of the Month

Don't forget about our November Stamp of the Month - only 10 more days before it's gone!
This card set is perfect for your Christmas cards and works even better with our very own Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge!  I promise you won't be disappointed with either one!

Wreaths!

I have become obsessed with wreaths this year and how to duplicate what I see online or if it's possible for someone with absolute no craft skills to re-create another persons masterpiece.  It's doable!  I did it!  It's not identical (of course!), it has my own spin with a little something special.  The point??? I can do it!  So without further delay, here is my very first yarn wreath:

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this wreath!  It brightens up the room with colors and character.  Hopefully you enjoy the little owl as much as I do.  I'm currently in the process of finishing another wreath made of burlap, but I just saw an amazing wreath made by the CEO, Jeanette Lynton, of Close to my Heart.  She really is one of the most creative women I have met!  I can only hope to create half as much beautiful artwork as she does.

You can find this wreath with instructions on her website along with many more of her beautiful creations.

Halloween 2011 Projects

Ok - This is my first post!  So forgive me as I learn as I go on this new blogging experience.  I love to scrap and I'm even venturing out into more craft projects thanks to an amazing company I joined, Close To My Heart.  Through them they have showed me the world of possibilities on how to use your basic scrapbook supplies and create some beautiful artwork!
It may already be November, but I'd like to share what few things I accomplished in October :)

This wreath took a lot out of me!  But I love it so much!  I ended up buying a metal profile of a witch that I hung in the center of it to look even more appropriate for Halloween.

These candles were by far one of the easiest things I've ever made.  I plan on branching out even more with candles during the upcoming holiday season.  Stay tuned!

This was harder than I expected...only because I had to cut the chipboard down to size and I did not have the appropriate cutting tool for that.  Oops!  But I managed and it worked out just fine :)

Of course all paper products used were Close To My Heart, even the roses things to their Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge!  Please feel free to contact me if you would like to learn more about making these products.
