More Christmas Cards

Merry Christmas!  Yes, it's Christmas Day and I'm posting on my blog! :) In my defense though, my daughter is napping and my hubby is off to the movies with my dad and brother.  What better time to sit down and FINALLY post the pics of my Christmas cards?

The last one doesn't really go with the others, but I did make a few of them for my co-workers.  It was completely last minute and literally on my way out the door I decided to stop & make a couple.  I was late to work, but it was worth it :)

I hope you enjoy your holidays and eat lots of yummy food!

Christmas Projects

I have yet to post my own version of the Christmas card video I posted a couple weeks ago, but I promise I will soon!  I have just been a little busy with some other projects around the house and for my daughters teachers.  Here is what it all looks like so far...

Late in the evening I realized I did not have small bags for my daughters gifts, so this is what I cam up with!  The first two were for her teachers and the elf bag was for her ornament exchange for Girl Scouts.  Here is a closer look at all three...

Of course, no Girl Scout party can take place without a festive craft, but what to do?  I headed straight to one of my favorite places & promptly got an idea from Splitcoast Stampers for pencil holders.  I did tweek it a bit for the supplies I had on hand.  What do you think?

Lastly, I made a banner for my girls to hold while taking our Christmas card picture.  It didn't quite turn out the way I thought it would, so it's resting place for this season is my hutch!  Don't laugh at my horrible photo, but you get the idea :)

 Hope you enjoyed the pics!

Paper Flowers

Paper flowers seem to be all the craze for me these days thanks to my fabulous Close To My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge!  I may have even got burnt out a little (just a little!) after my wreath.  The only thing is they turn out so cute and they are so easy to do!  I might be a little addicted...

I happen to have a great little Volkswagen Beetle and of course I have a flower holder, so I dressed it up a bit.  I just couldn't help myself!  I like them way better than any fake floral arrangement I would have purchased at Michael's or JoAnn's.

Now that I think of it...I should take a pic of them actually in my car.  Oh well.  Next time! :)

Christmas Cards

It's that time of year again!  If you haven't already purchased store bought cards (or even if you have) these are quick, easy and beautiful cards anyone would love to receive.  I'm starting mine soon and I'm saving these for those special people in my life who appreciate homemade items from me :)

I'll let you know how mine turn out shortly.
