My Little Wicked Witch Gift

Last week was extremely busy for not only my whole family, but especially my oldest daughter.  She was playing the Wicked Witch of the West for her school play.  You guessed it!  They were performing the Wizard of Oz this year :)

I wanted to do a little something special for her first big role, in fact, her first play ever!  Of course, with all of our activities lately I knew I wanted to keep the cost down.  What to do?  Sweets for my sweetie seemed perfect, but I wanted to dress it up just a bit!  This is what she ended up receiving (along with other family members that were attending the play too - who doesn't like to munch on sweets while watching a stellar performance?).

I was able to use one of CTMH's Halloween stamp set called Wicked.  Too perfect, right!?  It had the perfect phrase and I was able to use the head of the witch too!  A simple circle and scallop circle were shapes found on our CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge too.  Just a touch of ribbon and it made the perfect gift!

Game On!

I mentioned last week that I attended a weekend retreat in Lake Tahoe, but did I mention that there was a fun theme?  This year the Spring retreat theme was Casino Royale and there were a couple cute gifts waiting for me upon arrival.  One was a little box full of candy.  This was not just any box though it was made to look like a dice & was super cute!  The other was a fabulous pre-cut layout waiting for me to put together.

It is so perfect for our group photos and the pictures of our poker games!  I can't wait for them to be emailed to me :)
